Introduction

Hey everyone! My name is Julianne. I am hopefully graduating next Fall from SJSU. Like some of you, I've changed my major a few times before discovering Communication Studies. I used to get somewhat frustrated because I felt that everyone around me knew exactly what they wanted to do and I didn't. But I've learned that everyone has their own path. I started at San Jose State with a major in Business and concentration in Marketing. After three years, I finally had enough and needed to make a change. Two years later, after tastes of PR and Child Development, I am now happy and excited about my major in Comm Studies. However, I am a little nervous about this semester because two of my Comm classes are fully online. While I love that online is so convenient, it takes self-discipline and organization that I could always improve on. So I'm hoping this semester will help me strengthen those skills. I'm definitely excited about this class and am looking forward to working with you guys!
